Can we add a single lookup, which holds the references for multiple entities like Regarding on custom entity ?

Hello,

Thanks in advance!

Here my requirement is to have a lookup field on custom entity which will accept all the entity references same like regarding on activities. And I do not want to enable activities on this entity.
