Debugging Plug In with Visual Studio 2015 from CRM OnLine doesn t start ?

Actually I have attached the process from  2016 CRM PluginRegistration to Visual Studio 2015;

the process has attached but debug doesn t stop at the breakpoint whe the online action on line is firing!?

    I usually test plugins by throwing custom exceptions as using plugin profiler requires a lot of steps.

    As I said, profiler requires multiple steps. Also, I think debugging will not work if there is no error in the code. So I throw my own custom exceptions to check the progress.

    Use the plugin trace log @@

    There is an entity in CRM that you can see what's happening.

    Hi

    Because of your business logic, it may not be able to hit the current break point.

    Put the break point in the initial lines of the function, and check whether it is being hit.

    One option would be to use the XrmRealContext class in FakeXrmEasy which allows you to debug it locally without even attaching a remote debugger. It requires to enable the plugin profiler tool, but once you have a plugin profile record, you can literally copy & paste the compressed serialised profile in a "unit" test and start debugging.
