Free gift functionality

Hi there,

I have the below scenario that I am struggling to get right.

Customer spends 200 -> Get product A free
Customer spends 500 -> Get product B free

I manage to get the 1st one right using the Free item functionality but when i add in the 2nd line either on the same free gift setup or on a separate free gift setup, it doesn't recognize the 500 spend.

On the price simulator if I get to 200, i get 0001 free but when i get to 500, i still get 0001 free instead of 0005.

Is there a way to get the above right?

Thanks,
Shaun

    Hi Shaun,
Based on the screenshot it looks like you are using a customized or ISV solution for this promotion.  Price simulator may not show the correct calculation if new pricing logic was not added to the price SIM  in D365. It will be best to configure and test on the POS. We may not able to provide a solution here. Please contact the developer or ISV.

    Hi Shafeeque,
    Thanks for the response.
Are we saying that this functionality is custom and not standard:

Yes, I haven't seen a form(Free item) like that in our stock demo instance.

This is standard functionality when enabling the pricing management feature.

    Dear Shaun,

Sorry my bad. Never looked into this part of the pricing. Definitely something to try over the weekend.

Please ping me here. I will direct you to the pricing management preview discussion group.

Couldn't you set two Priority based mutually exclusive Threshold discounts? The 500 one would be highest priority and evaluated first ELSE the 200 one would apply
