BOM Window and Report Customization.

Hi there,

 

i build up some Item's BOM and then took the print and found that  still there is missing a lot of information in standard report; like 

 

- Qty to Build must be in Report as well.

- Site issue from and to

- BOM Cost     (the total cost which is required to Build the unit qty)

 

* The quantity for each component was mentioned in Grams as if it is in Kgs so were exceeding more than 4 decimals. So system do calculate the the extended quanitity in the main unit which is correct and also the related cost.

but in report the same quantity with base unit is shows up not in Grams?

 

please any suggestions?

    Thanks for your time and really it is very helpful for me. please find the attached main window of BOM and the customized report.

    I was notable to get your point but here is the sample of both:

    The Qty to build and the Bom cost as we can see in main window but how it can be in report.

    Zee, it sounds like you're referring to the Inventory BOM, not the Manufacturing BOM.  Not many companies in my experience use the Inventory BOM, so it's kind of neglected from an improvements standpoint.  I believe you'll have to just struggle through the report modifications to get what you're looking for.  By the way, if you'd like an Excel file that layouts the table structure in GP, send me an email through the forum.  I'll send you a copy.
