Manufacturing - Cannot assign routing link to type = Production BOM line

Hi All

When trying to assign a routing link code to anything other than line type = BOM on BOM lines we get an error. What is the reason for this setting?

Hi ,

Routing Link Codes are used to make an association between a routing operation step and the BOM components that will be used in the operation

it is basically use to make the relationship between the routing and the components used in that operation step.

In your scenario you need to go to the phantom's BOM and set the Routing Link Code there. That way when the components are exploded on the Production Order they pass the Routing Link Code to the lines.
