Reassign related records of an older worker record to a new worker record

Given a scenario where there were two worker records for the same employee which got created for reasons unknown. These got created because in the first case when the employee was on recruited on a temporary basis. Now the employee has been recruited full time and a new record was created by the HR team.

However, it has been discovered that the review and goal records which are being created against the older worker record. I noticed that the Eligible for Performance is on in the former record and off in the latter. My question is there a way to reassign such review and goal records to the new worker record in D365 HR. This can help disabling the older record or perhaps there is a better process to handle this scenario.Thanks.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi Hana,

Thank you for responding to my query. Unfortunately, I am unable to understand the specifics of your counter question. Which screenshot do you want to see? What navigation path are you talking about?

    Please let me know. Thanks.

    Hello,

Could you kindly provide screenshots for the two records in question?
Do they possess identical personnel numbers?
Are their first names and last names distinct from each other?
Do they have multiple employments listed?

    Hi Parag,

    Thank you for your response.

To answer your queries, the differences are:

    a.  the Personnel number is different. - 2358 and 2386
    b. the Eligible for Performance setting is on for 2358 (older personnel number) and off for 2386 (new personnel number).

The rest of the information on the worker record is the same. I have created the scenario above in our staging environment for understanding. The first record (2358) has a briefer stint which ended in one month March last year, and the second one (2386) when the same employee rejoined in June last year and is currently employed ever since. Ideally, all reviews and goals should be linked to 2386 but for some reason are getting linked to 2358. I am not sure if the Eligible for Perfomance setting is responsible for this.

Please let me know what you think Thanks.
