Default Number of Years for Fixed Assets

Hi:

I know that this cannot be done, within the Fixed Asset Subclasses window.

But, typically, automobiles have five as the depreciable number of years of life.

Is it possible to have set and maintain a default number of years for such a subclass in the Fixed Assets module?
