Error when saving a record

ReportReport

Multiple online customers are reporting that there is an unhandled exception when saving a record. Has anyone here come across that problem? It is maybe related with security roles and all this is happening because of some hotfix that Microsoft has provided to us.

    Hi

It looks like a caching issues caused by possibly a Service Update.

Could you clear your browser cache,  restart your machine and try on different browsers and see if that fixes the issue.

    Hope this helps

Thank you for your answer but deleting the browser cache did not help the issue.

    Hi,

I opened above link and it is showing *IndexOutOfRangeException* if you also facing this issue, then it is because of your custom code. For example, if you are retrieving any records and without checking about Entity collection length and trying to perform some action then it will throw this error. Check your custom code. Hope it helps.

    Thanks,

    Shivaram

    Hi,

Please follow the below url :

    community.dynamics.com/.../120553

    community.dynamics.com/.../188226

Might be something is wrong from your code side Just check with your plugin or javascript for which you are getting the error message with <Message>System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

    Thanks,

    Jharana

    Hi, Thanks for your answers.

The reason for the error message was that there was a sub-grid that showed details of an entity where the user did not have any rights. We deleted the sub-grid from the form and it resolved the problem.

It is still strange that the error message came up after the V9.1.0.1847 update. Everything have worked fine before that.
