The EID information once read from the card will search for the matching record in the Dynamcis 365 and then once matchiing record is found it can be used for different purposes, like,
Reteriving
1) It may display the contact information
2) If the person is a supplier, then display his supplier master details and purchase order details,
3) If the person is a customer, then display his customer master details and list of sales orders
or if Dynamics 365 does not find the matching information then it might ask whether ones wants to create a new master in employee, contrator, customer, vendor
