While updating a managed solution I am getting an error 80040203 which has a description "Supported deployment does not agree with message availability". Not clear on what the issue is as it is not an issue on other sites. The release is the 2021 version Wave 2.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am importing a managed solution, not using the update feature you are showing here.

Please check the download log file and check the message tag.
Also, open the error log in excel.
May be in the message tag will have more info.

I guess this is third party solution IPMGlobal.CRM2011.IPM.Plugins.IPMPlugins.
If yes then please install the third party solution on target instance
Then import your managed package again,

That plugin is part of our managed solution, the one that will not import/upgrade.
Do we have this ipm_sd_purchaseorder entity on target instance?
That entity exists in the solution and the target and has not changed between versions.
