
My company is using CRM Dynamics and we have a pretty complex pricing matrix. Can the out-of-box CRM 4.0 handle a complex pricing matix or do we need to customize. An example is, we sell software, but the price is based on the product, the customer type and the license type.

It may work out of the box, but this is one were were most clients have some type of customization so it fully fits the business requirements or fully streamlines the implementation.
CRM 4 can have price lists, and each price list has items with their own price. We can also have discount lists where a % discount is applied based upon the purchased quantity.
For your scenario I'd imagine it would be fairly out of the box with few, if any, customizations.
