Record is not saved on Page after SAVED indicator - BC16

Dear Professionals,

I started to use Dynamics NAV Business Central 16 in these days and I met an interesting problem.

When I change a value of a field on a Page (for example Item), the indicator tells it is SAVED, but if there is no Currpage.UPDATE behind of the field, the changes are gone after Closing the browser page directly, without close the Page by the Back Arrow in upper left.

I debugged it and the OnModify trigger is not running in this case only, when I close the Page by the arrow (and not close the browser Tab!).

It is very frustrating, because the system tell it is "SAVED", but physically not.

Does anybody met with this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked what is saved in SQL Server? That is what count most.

There might be several reason why u stil do not see it on another page. The first that I have in mind is that it is accessing NST data from the cache and until the changes is triggered or something is changed in the second page then the record stay as is.

If you are in need in some pages to see exactly the data that is stored in the database you might use SELECTLATESTVERSION command. This will always bypass data cache from NSTs.

CAUTION: this might cause performance issues.

    Hi,

Once you enter try to tab to the  next field. If there is any restriction on the text limit it will prompt you while closing the page.
