Requisition Worksheet

Posted on by 10
Hello,
I have set up the item card (I have filled the planning and the Replenishment tabs on Item Card) when I go to the req. worksheet and i calculate Plan i get all the items where the quantity is less than the reorder point.
My question is that the due date on the requisition worksheet is not valid. For some items the due date is in 2010
and another question is about calculating the plan: in the request page the staring date should be today?
Thank you in Advance.

If you have access to the Planning Worksheet, I recommend using it over the Req. Worksheet.  It has a better calculation engine (depending on what you're calculating) and provides better information when a date issue is present.

You may have an old Sales Order Line (or other demand source) with a Planned Shipment Date in 2010, and the system is trying to get inventory in before the needed date.  You may need to scrub data for old dates that impact planning to make it more realistic.

I always recommend a Starting Date of today or tomorrow (since it is hard to get same day orders).

Good luck in your testing (in a Sandbox environment, I hope)!
