We are running CRM 2012 UR6 with outlook 2010 and using CRM Outlook client.

Some of our users experiencing strange issues with their recurring appointments. They keep getting sync error even when new recurring appointments are created from Outlook. The appointments get created in CRM but always present an error on a sync.

This is the trace log:

Any ideas what else to check?

    Gareth,

Can you try re-installing the client?

    Thanks.

Unfortunately I've already tried that but it did not resolve. In fact this issue was on the user's old machine and has only recently got a new machine, refreshed OS and new client.

Is anyone aware of issues with unresolved contacts in the Required field? Just throwing some ideas around...

    Hi there,

I have seen this issue quite a few times. Basically what the errors are saying is that there is a missing sender or recipient on the email, hence the missing mapi properties. If there is a sender and recipient, drill in to each of their email addresses and see if there is missing email properties.

I guess that makes sense.  I'll see if i can locate the appointment and find the missing email.

    Sounds good.

You are probably hitting the same issue as described in this forum post: social.microsoft.com/.../d4fdf8f5-e3b2-4fa8-8f0e-2269d3cc2239

This will be fixed in the rollup which gets released in the end of August.

    Hi Steven

Can you please double-check that link? It doesn't seem to go anywhere.

    Thanks

The link works fine, however for some reason it appears that when you open in a new browser window it does not seem to work. If you refresh the page, it works. Let me know if it works for you, otherwise I'll paste it in Word and make it available for download :)

Oh yes i have seen that article.

I was actually the last one to reply on that thread!

Hi Aaron - is there any more info you can provide on this? I have set CRM for Outlook to track ALL emails. However it doesn't seem to be tracking any of them. I have enabled tracing and get this warning logged:

UserProperties collection doesn't contain all MAPI properties for item:

Is there anyway around this? What are the limitations of CRM for Outlook 'Tracking ALL emails'?

    Thanks.
