Option Set Industry Code is not showing the right values from CRM within the PowerBI Online Sales Manager dashboard

Hi all,

we are currently on Dynamics CRM 2016SP1 and looking into the Online Sales Manager Dashboard within PowerBI. The Industry Code that is used in for example the chart: Leads by Industry on the Lead Analysis tab is showing the out-of-the-box values whereas within CRM we renamed the existing values to customize this to our needs.

Have people seen this before? Is there a way to fix this?

Was the approach wrong by renaming the values within the option set or should we have added the new values and delete the standard list so the values have new ID's?

    Thank you for your quick response.

    Attached the Option Set within CRM and the graph that is shown in the PowerBI dashboard.

    Within the PowerBI dashboard I recognize the Out-Of-The-Box values like Agriculture, Broadcasting, Brokers etc.

    It seems that the system option sets are not moving across to PowerBI. Regardless changing labels or organizing the optionset values differently does not make a diference.

    Now we have used the PowerBI Option Set Assistant from the XRM Tool box to be able to use our modified optionsets. This way we have two datasets, two reports and a single dashboard. Short term this is a better alternative then re-building the whole dashboard.
