I have a duplicate detection rule on the primary column of a custom table that just detects exact match. We recently migrated the App and the data to a new environment and once I publish the rule it works but after a few hours the rule just stops working.
I can confirm it initially works as I cannot create a duplicate record as it prompts the record exists. After a while it will allow the creation of a duplicate record with no prompt. Disabling and re-enabling seems to fix it for a few hours.
I have tried the following:
- I have tried deleting and re-creating the rule.
- Re-creating it basing in on the first 20 characters (thats the character limit of this field)
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
