Customised menu set-up

Our Dynamics 365 set-up has quite a bit of customisation, one of them being the navigation menu. We recently added some new team members and when they are licensed in, they get access to dynamics, but the menu layout is not the same for them.
 
Does anyone have an idea where in the admin area this kind of profile set-up is held for users?

    Hi Partner,
    According to the screenshot, it's basically entities/tables and a dashboard.
    Some users can't see them, probably because they lack the appropriate permissions, which are determined by the security roles assigned to the user.
    So you need assign security roles with sufficient privileges to users.
    Using contacts as an example:
    --Find roles that assigned to this user, or assign new role.
    - - In this role, edit the contact's "Read" permission to at least make the selected level "User".

    Hi Leah,
     
    I tried this, the User A has the same security roles as other users who see the menu correctly. When I compare User A to User B I can't see any difference in their set-up in security or permissions, this is what is so frustrating :/
