CLR Types for SQL Server 2012... when Install Setup NAV 2013 R2 in Windows Server 2012

Hi everyone

When we install Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 it appears an situation that we never look before.

In the beginning of Setup the process ask for CLR Types, and open the window OPEN to select CLR Types when is running "Installing Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server 2012..."

Does someone have this problem before, and why is that happening ?

That machine has Windows Server 2012.

When we installed in Windows Server 2008 never looked this problem.

Tks in advance.

    Hi,

You will find the "SQLSysClrTypes.msi" in your setup folder from where you are installing.

It is available in below path so just give this path while system asking for the file and press ok to begin the setup.

Dynamics NAV Setup folder(please select your folder) \PrerequisiteComponents\Microsoft SQL Server Management Objects

    Regards,

    hi,

as shown in the posting of fernando at least one of the install prerequisites was not met. Download the "Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL Server 2012" from microsoft site and install it.

    best regards
