How can I set up sub account for different departments for one chart of accounts

    Hi,
     
    Would dimensions be what you are looking for?
     
    Within a dimension you can specify multiple dimension values.
     
     
    Against a transaction this dimension can either be defaulted on manually entered and if it is set as a Global dimension on the General Ledger Setup then the values will be posted to the General Ledger Entries.
     
     
     
    Financial Reports can also be created to view this data by period.
