Running Canadian Payroll and Project Accounting modules

Posted on by 22,647

We are running both Canadian payroll and Project Accounting module for a couple of fast moving clients who would like to start looking at GP2013 and one of the first things they heard from their CRM partner was 'wow that is agressive since CPY does work that well'

I need to know if that is correct.  I am looking all over the site for a list - actual list - of the modules that can 'right now' be installed in GP2013 and run.

    Hi Bill,

The partner might have been talking about the web client version within GP 2013 which is not supporting all modules right now. The web client version will be in a phased roll-out.

Check out this blog for me details:

Hope this helps clarifies some things for you,

    Tania

So are you are pretty sure that Canadian Payroll is available and operational in GP2013 as is Project Accounting, which I understand.

Your comment about not going back to GP2010 if GP2013 is not working is a bit of a concern.  Do you have time today or Monday to discuss this off line?  Private email or skype?

    Hi Bill,

The Canadian Payroll is a module from Microsoft, as is the Project Accounting... So I would be very suprised that they are not supported in GP 2013... I've not yet had the chance to look at the new version, since our partner doesn't want us to hand over the GP2013 keys as long as we have no signed the new agreements with Microsoft, which will us forbid to go back to GP11 (2010R2) is thing are going wrong... :-(
