Hi All,

I installed BP 4.0 and the installation went fine. I am able to access the BusinessPortal Home page and i navigated to the Inventory center and tried to create a new item, it gives me a message

"CWTSSession.processDisconnect: Error 516 connecting to terminal server WIN2003. Error: Winsock Socket connect failure."

Pls help me on how to resolve this issue.

Hi Dencio,

I didnt enabled the remote connection in the server, after enabling it i did not get the error, thanks for the support.

Hi DMR,

If you also installed GP and enabled Terminal Services on this machine , yes. Otherwise specify the servername of the Terminal Server hosting GP.

Hi,
I am installed the GP, Business portal in a VPC, what name should i give for WTS, is it the Server name?

Hi,

Please ensure you configured BP's Setup Backoffice Terminal Server Access via Business Portal >>Administration Pages>>Email and Terminal Services. This configuration will enable BP to use Terminal Server for IE access, Path and filename of the initial application (shortcuts equivalent of GP).
