Couldn't show SharePoint Document in Dynamics Portal

Hello all,

I am using Dynamics 365 Online, SharePoint Online and Custom Portal. I want to show SharePoint Documents in Portal.

For that, I followed below link:

https://community.dynamics.com/crm/b/microsoftdynamicscrmsolutions/archive/2016/08/17/crm-portal-and-sharepoint-integration

I followed all the steps which are given in above link. But I couldn't see the SharePoint Documents in Portal.

It gives me the following Error:

DocumentError.png

I created entity permission record for Document Location entity & Account same as above documented suggested, also tried restarting portal. but it doesn't working, I couldn't identify the cause for the error.

Anyone has solutions?

Regards,

Ashish

    Hi Ashish,

The above permission error is due to missing entity permissions. Have you added the permission to the web roles you are using?

Also, I believe that Portal - SharePoint integration is not fully working as of now. There is a known issue/bug due to which even if you configure the above permission, you would not be able to see/ upload documents instead you will see an error "Error completing request. Internal Server Error"

    Check the below links-

There is also an idea submitted for this which is under review-

    ideas.dynamics.com/.../ID0000619

Last I heard was that this bug will be fixed in portal version 9. I do not have any official documentation/ confirmation on it.

    Hope this helps.
