    Hi Eyoo,

I can certainly help you out here. I am with New West Technologies and we have been in the mobile space for quite some time. We have a solution for this that allows you to choose a device of your liking and if you are in Canada of the US you can accept credit payment from the device. feel free to shoot me an email- awilcox@newestech.com

    Hello EYOO,

When it comes to Mobile POS our philosophy is to have a mobile solution that will speed your checkout lanes without bypassing them, to still be directly connected with RMS but not usurp the power your checkout lanes yield.

Line Busting delivers on both ends of what you are wanting to accomplish.

    1.  Speed up check out by pre-ringing items for customers and simply recalling to finalize transaction.

    2.  Maintain the security of having to go through cashiers.  Do you really want someone waving a receipt saying "I paid so and so back there"?  (unless you want the expense of paying someone to check receipts like Sams Club does).  *IMO If you have to have somebody at the door checking everyone's receipt including those who already went through your lanes I think it actually slows any gain you've received by Mobile check out.

    3.  Maintain the money making power that impulse items at the counters contain.

    4.  Continue to utilize the security sensors on items.  I could be mistaken but I do not belive that mobile units do have this capability.  If you have to go to a table where they house deactivation devices, then you've basically sent them through a checkout line anyway but sacrificed the impulse buy.

As a retailer, I want people going through the checkout lanes for all fo the reasons stated abov.  I also want to make that efficient as possible and line busting delivers the best of both worlds.

Happy to talk more about this with you.
