Hi,
I am trying to understand the purpose of this field (Triangles with exclamation mark inside) on the Sales Order line. I assume it's checking the status of certain fields attached to the released product so it meets certain criteria?
You are correct. In general, the triangle information means that certain fields do not meet certain criteria. But you can still process the business.
If it is a red fork, you can not process the business.

would be ideal to address the yellow triangle as well

No parameter to set it, it is by design.
also should review ehtehr all required information per item is specified on the sales line e.g. site, warehouse....
