Is inventory counting & tag counting works in AX 2012 R2?
I created a journal & tried to generate transaction but no item displayed.

Yes these work. How have you tried to generate the items to count? Pick a simple one you have stock of, run the routine just for that item (assuring there are no other open counting journals)

i tried & test one item but no results generated.
