Hi

How can I search for General Journals that have been posted in the past? BC is not always intuitive.

Thanks

    Hi there,

    1) You need to search on the General Ledger Entries, and refer to the document number (no series) you have setup in your General Journal Batches.

    2) Serach G/L Registers by creation date and Source

    Good luck.

When you post the General Journals, the General Ledger Entries ( and the related entries ) are created and the General Journals are deleted.

There is no "Posted General Journals". You will need to look at General Ledger Entries and figure out what journals the user made.

    Hi there,

this is my first time posting on a forum so excuse me if this is not the correct thread.

I also am wondering the same thing. I know how to find a list of all journals > General Journals/Navigate/G/L Register. In this screen I can see a "Register Number" I'm assuming another name for Journal Number but the information here is not as detailed as I need.

I am looking for this list but including the journal description & the Posting Date (not creation date) - these aren't available fields to add if I try to personalize the screen either.

Is there a different report I can run?

I find it confusing to have to know the journal I should be looking for if I haven't posted it myself! Equally if I run the report through this screen that does give line by line detail, it would be unrealistic to run it for every single journal ever posted just so I can try to find the 3 journals I need for example.

I basically want to run this report for every journal posted between 01.01.21..31.03.21 and then be able to identify by description all revenue recognition journals (as we use a specific description to identify these)

    Hope that makes sense

    Thank you in advance

    Cassie
