Enabling of flows in UCI

Hello with regards to UCI in GCC region:

It appears the on-demand workflows of legacy web are not available by default in UCI till Flow is manually enabled via the below admin interface (see image). This admin interface however appears to be a legacy web interface though currently accessible in UCI (via top right gear->settings->Administration->System Settings). Question then is:

1. Will this legacy admin interface (top right gear->settings->Administration->System Settings)  always be available in UCI?

2. Our understanding was that the admin operations are to move to Power Platform Admin Center  (for gcc at https://gcc.admin.powerplatform.microsoft.us/). But in that interface, I don't see anywhere an option to enable Flow

So it appears the only way to get on-demand workflows of legacy web to be available in UCI is to manually enable them using the (top right gear->settings->Administration->System Settings) option. And that may be fine, if that interface option will always be available in UCI. We just don' want to lose the ability for users to be able to execute on-demand workflows post-UCI. Can someone confirm that either option #1 will always be available in UCI or if there is a way to activate flows via the Power platform admin center.

Thanks

Yes, although labels are different, this is the same setting.

So is the option : "Show Power Automate on forms and in the site map" in the power platform admin center is the same as "Enable Microsoft Flow" on the Advanced settings interface ?

    Hello,

Indeed you need to enable Power Automate as a pre-requisite.
The setting should also be available in the Power Platform Admin Center, in the environment Settings, under Product > Behavior.

Now to answer your other point, the "Advanced Settings" will also be removed at some point, but not as part of the legacy web client removal.
The legacy settings will remain available while the remaining various settings and customizations options are transitioned to modern experiences, in one of these 3 buckets:

    • Power Platform Admin Center (where environment settings and security can be managed)
    • App settings (where app-specific settings can be configured, for example case routing rules for Customer Service).
    • The maker portal (make.powerapps.com) to create apps, flows, solutions, etc.

    Henry
