Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Click button in Form A, open Form B and select a record in data source

Sir I have Two Form, Form A and Form B. Both having the grids with same data source 

When I select a record in grid of Form A  and click the button above to show the relevant record in grid of Form B.

How to do that please help me in this scenario.

    Hi Jamil, you posted your question in a very old discussion that was already marked as answered. Therefore I split your question into a new thread.

    1) Your button in Form A should be a MenuItemButton that runs a display menu item that points to Form B.

    2) Your button on form A should be in a button group that has your data source set in the DataSource property

    3) Now clicking the button opens Form B and should show the same record that you had selected in Form A.
