Hi,

I am trying to update header field using javascript but its not updating. When i refreshed the browser. i get the value updated in that field. so please let me know how can refresh the field without reloading the whole crm application. Or any other way to update the field.

Hi Mohammad,

I understand that you have written a JavaScript to update the header field value which is not updating on the fly but when you refresh the page you get the updated value.

could you please share the script you are using.

Are you showing the legacy header that has more than 4 items? If you use the new refreshed header with 4 or less items the values are editable and update when the form value changes.

Yes i migrated the organization from 2011 to 2015. so the application is using information page, means from 2011 page and it has more 5 field in the header part. Please let me know how i can change the header as per new crm 2015 for information page.

Thanks for your replay you are right.

Xrm.Page.data.entity.attributes.get("aas_weightedrevenue").setValue(weightedRev);

this above line i am using to update the header field "aas_weightedrevenue" when the form field option pick value changed. just i want to update the header field on the fly when option set field is changed.

Hi Scott,

i am updating the Estimated Revenue field of opportunity on create/update/delete of an associated entity record, and this I am doing from a custom editable grid made in knockout js.

any way to update the header field Est Rev, asynchronously when any associated record is created/updaed/deleted.

i have tried the "Xrm.Page.data.refresh()" method, but it is not bringing the latest value of the header field, only a hard refresh (ctrl + F5) is needed to get the latest value of the header field as of now.
