Auto fill lookup field with parent record

I am trying to auto fill a LookUp field called "Supplier" on an entity called "Quote Product". The lookup is related to a parent entity called "Product" which also has a field named "Supplier".

The CRM knows that it is a related record, as when I go to search for the supplier on the "Quote Product" entity, it only brings up the related supplier.

Hoping someone will be able to help me create some JavaScript that will auto fill this look up in.. please? I've tried creating it myself but just seem to end up in a bit of a mess!!
