Global Customers to Local Customers

So we originally had HQ and multiple stores we are now down to only one store and do not need HQ anymore is there a way to change the Global customers to Local customers without loosing what is in there account ex what they owe now?

    My follow up question is what do you do IF the customer will keep HQ in place and use it to manage more than 1 location however they no longer want to have global customers?

    What are the steps to convert all those customers to local, manage them at each and still have HQ in place?

    Run the following query in store operations administer. That will update all customers in the db to local customers. update customer set globalcustomer = 0 Run all my query suggestions at your own risk!

    If the customer is already in the SO just go the customer properties > customer options and then uncheck customer global customer.

    hope that will solve your issue.
