After one of the updates, we start getting retail server not connected error.

Once we login in offline mode, then we can come online using the settings inside MPOS.

But once we logout and then try to login again, we are not able to login in online mode.

When i checked into error logs in event viewer, then i get error on this link :

https://xxxx.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com/Commerce/GetRetailConfigurationParameters()?$top=250&$count=true&api-version=7.3

It says server is not available..

but once i login and choose online from the settings, then all the transactions are going online.

I have the same question (0)

    Which version of Dynamics 365 Commerce are you running on the FnO, CSU and Store Commerce/MPOS ? Can you make sure that all of them are on the same version? Alternatively, try doing full sync of all jobs to CSU and offline DB to make sure that all of them are on the same page ?

    Looking at the format (xxx-xxxx-retailret.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com) of the Retail Server, i think you are still using the default retail server that used to inbuilt in AOS in the headquarters which may not be updated ? If you are on a Tier 2 or higher environment, could you please deploy the cloud Commerce scale unit (CSU) from LCS and use this CSU for your store ?

    Thanks for your answer

    Modern POS : 10.0.26.1

    and CSU version is 9.36.22117.17(10.0.26)

    MPOS was upgraded after the CSU (and D365) was upgraded to v10.0.26 following this article: docs.microsoft.com/.../retailsdk-update. A folder was autogenerated on the RetailSDK directory after the CSU upgrade which was named “{{Guid.RetailSDKUpdate.Date}}” and this was merged onto the then existing SDK folder with existing extensions. This along with updating the customization.settings file in RetailSDK/BuildTools to build to the correct major version were all the changes I did.

    I won't know more than this.

    We managed to solve this issue. The issue was with one of the extensions added by a third-party developer which created problem during the upgrade process.
