Unified Interface Transition- Custom Connector

Hi, we developed a custom connector to identify records- accounts, leads and contacts based on phone number fields. The connector works great with our current version of Dynamics 365 Online . 

we plan to move to the Unified Interface/Sales Hub. Not sure, if anything will change with the connector identifying records? will it work okay?

    Hello Aditya,

    It's hard to tell without more details.
    How was the connector implemented? If it's using standard methods that haven't been deprecated, chances are it will continue to work.

    If the connector is external to your application and only queries the APIs, then it shouldn't change anything, the Unified Interface is just a different user client rendering of the same data and business logic.

    I advise that you do some test on a sandbox environment, by trying out the Unified Interface, either through a first-party app (e.g. Sales Hub) or by simply temporarily turning on the "Unified Interface Only" mode:
