XP blue screen

We just updated all of our sales laptops with the MS updates, and then loaded the MS CRM Online - Outlook add-on.  Now many of the XP laptops are Blue screening with a memory error.  Has anyone else seen this and found the solution to this problem?  Thx.

    Hello Paul,

    As a first test please try reinstalling the Outlook client and see if the issue reproduces. If so then make sure the laptop video drivers are up to date. We have seen in the past that out of date video drivers have sometimes caused display issues in the Outlook client and then run out of memory, hence giving a blue screen or crash. If you are still experiencing issues after that please log a support request so that we can have a support engineer work more closely with you to determine the cause of the XP crash.

    How do I fix a blue screen on Windows XP?

    You need to run the full system diagnostic.

    If those diagnostics pass, run a full file system check from the Recovery Console (chkdsk /f /r) to detect and (potentially) fix any corrupted data.

    If none of the above solves the issue, reinstall Windows.

    If that does not fix the issue, replace the hard drive.
