Is it possible to change the cost of goods sold account assigned to a large number of items set up as inventory items in Dynamics? Something like importing a table or uploading the changes, this would be affecting approximately 800 different items in our database, and the only thing that would change for the inventory items is the cost of goods sold account that they were assigned to.

If it is not in class then create Macros to update Account Number.

Do you have these items assigned to a Class or Classes? If so, you could change the account number in the Class and roll the changes down to the Items en masse.
