Newly created system view won't show to other CRM users

Hi,

I have created a new system view in CRM.  I have published the customization's and can see the related records in the list.

Then when I test the view using another security role I can't see the data.  In the view it says "No data available".  I also created an associated chart & get "there is no data to create the chart"

The thing is - the view & chart worked fine in our test environment for both security roles, so I moved the solution to our Live environment and suddenly its not working for non-admin users.

I've looked into the security settings for the roles in both environments & they match.  Does anyone have any ideas about what else could be causing the issue?

    So I managed to track the issue down to one field which had field security enabled. When I turned this off the users could see the views and charts.  The field security wasn't required for the field (is locked on the form), so is okay to turn off.

    No, none of the filters are for lookup fields.

    Does your view definition has any filters with lookup record references? It can happen the lookup reference are not getting resolved in new enironmentv and you are not able to see the records.

    Unfortunately this did not help - cleared the cache, then assigned the admin role (they could see the view), put them back on their assigned security role, view disappeared.

    Try clearing cache on the browser.  Close and reopen the browser and try again.
