Hi everyone,
Does anyone know how to change the instance of a CRM Portal to sandbox?
I already try this and the connected instance actually change to dev but clicking on ‘Update Dynamics 365 instance’, the instance remains to prod. Besides that, when I look to sandbox solution, the installation of Dynamics 365 Partner Portal still with the status ‘Installing’. Any suggestions? I made this change last Tuesday.

Hello Maria,
I observed this in my environment, when I had updated the ‘Update Dynamics 365 instance’ and provisioned portal without having the Administrative privileges. I assume you are having Global Admin rights on Office 365.
If still you are having this issue better to raise a support ticket with Microsoft. There might be some issue at Microsoft Azure/Server end
