Our company has changed our policy on creating job codes so going forward we have implemented this change now create them according to our new policy but for the other jobs that were already created prior to this change we will need to update to match our new policy. Is there a way to mass change those that are no longer meeting our policy and replace with the new job codes that follow our policy? The only solution that we know at this point is to create new ones and move our 5000+employees into those new codes (this is very time consuming), this will also create a history record that we don't really want to happen. Right now they are greyed out and cannot be manipulated. Is there someway to change the code like you can do for an employee ID? or can this be mass changed in smartconnect? looking for an easy solution to this big update, any suggestions much appreciated.
