Retail POS - Discounts with Discount Bar Code are applied to Return product transactions on POS automatically (without scanning discount bar code)

We have AX 2012 R3 CU10 version.

Created Discount using following technet article.

After items are scanned then scan the discount bar code it applies the discount. If you don't scan the discount bar code discount is not applied. This part works as expected.

But when you are returning product(part of the offer) it applies the discount without scanning discount bar code. This is the problem.

I think it could be a bug in POS. Does anybody have any ideas. If you come across this before please let us know.

Hi Srinivas,

Unfortunately I don't have a solution but we are having the exact same problem. We're going to install CU 12 and see if this solves the problem, however, as of now we don't know what's causing the problem.

Same issue here. I'm going to CU13. Maybe it will solve problem.

Hi

I face the same issue with coupons and return items. It works fine if I scan the receipt id, but without a receipt it deducts discounts. I looked at LCS and found this:

So not sure if MS will fix the issue:-(
