keyboard shortuts open in English (German Tenant)

Hello all,

when I open the link to the keyboard shortuts in Business Central(German Tenant, German environment) over Questionmark Icon--> Shortcuts, it always opens the Microsoft docs page in English. This happens on BC17 SaaS and OnPrem.

Other links to MS docs (by searching over Alt+Q) always refer to the German version of MS docs . Is there a way to change the URL of the shortcuts? prefereably without creatng an extension? Or is this by design?

I know this seems like an insignificant issue, but our customer really hates it.

Any help with be appreciated.

    Hi Erik,

    I changed my language to German (1031) and clicked the Keyboard Shortcut link under Help and it took me to

    docs.microsoft.com/.../keyboard-shortcuts

    I replicated the issue, so I would recommend submitting a support case (it will be non-chargeable).  Our team can submit this to Development to see why the language from User Personalization is not being used.  Please be sure to reference this post.

    I have another question in terms of language. Is it possible when using the "edit in Excel" function to show the field names in the selected language or is it english by default? I assume Excel shows the table fields and not the caption, thats why it is always in English.

    Hi Erik,

    No it's English only at the moment as it pulls from the database.  A suggestion was entered on this...looks promising if you review it as it has quite a few votes on it.  I'd still vote it up if it still allows you too.
