GL/PM Reconciliation

Hi,

I have an issue with GL/PM Reconcile where PMAPY transactions are showing up as UNMATCHED.

At first, I thought that it has something to do with transactions involved not being posted on the same period, however, I saw some instances where this was not the case.

Any ideas that can point me to the right direction is much appreciated!

    Hi Tristan,

If it turns out that the entries were inadvertently deleted from GL, consider changing the General Ledger setup options to not allow deletion of saved transactions. There's a checkbox on the setup window that was added in version 10 (I think). The default is to allow deletion.  Since all transactions coming up from the sub ledgers are saved to batches, they couldn't be deleted.

    Here's the window:

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

To add up, I would dig for further analysis on the database level to find any interrelated patterns. Check the following SQL Script for AP-GL Reconciliation for Sivakumar.

    Hope this helps,

    I would check :

    1) Are there any un Posted GL Batches originating from AP / CM ?

    2) Has any batch been deleted in GL ?

    3) Re build AP Key file PM00400  - Corrupted indexes tend to throw mis matches.  (Backup the DB - truncate the key file - GP should auto rebuild)

    4) Conduct check links on AP  / GL to catch any possible data corruptions.

    Cheers!

    Sanjay
