Active alerts with disabled user

Hi,

Is it possible to set up a disabled user in AX but still getting alerts?

The reason to disable the user accounts are due to the licensing costs, but they would still want to get email notifications from AX.

Thanks,

    Thanks Crispin,

What would be the consequence if we had an active alert rule sending notifications to a user, and the user is now disabled in the user form? Any error or just the alert rule won't work?

    Hello Yuji,

I am not absolutely sure if this can really save licensing costs because AX functions are still used.

Please clarify this in detail with a MS licensing expert to avoid trouble in regards to breaches of the licensing agreement with MS

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
