Hi all,

Hope everyone is good. I have a query around FX revaluation.

It was all working fine until 2018. In 2018 where I have set up a new fiscal period, the revaluation process seems to ignore any brought forward balances and is only revaluing the movement in Jan 2018. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?

No reason to wait since you can easily post to the prior year by entering the date of the last day of your FY 2017. If you do not close 2017 you will not have any beginning balance figures.

Not yet.. wanted to be a bit careful and not close until audit is finalised (in April).. If I closed, would I be able to re-open if needed?

Have you run the general ledger year-end for 2017 (to create the opening balances on general ledger for 2018)?
