Does anyone know where the user-settings are stored for atlas 6.6 ?

Every time I reboot my machine, the clientsettings are gone, it uses the machine name as "hostname" instead of the managementserver which I used at installation time

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Johand65,

Atlas is a third party product. I would suggest to contact their support or forum.

Is there anything special about the machine on which you have installed the Atlas client (i.e. is it a terminal server, or citrix?)

When the Atlas client was installed, was Run as Administrator used (it should be)?

If you completely close the Atlas Client, and then open it again using Run as Administrator, you might find that you can set the management server on the Settings tab. This setting should be remembered when you open it next time the normal way.

If all else fails, there is an ApplicationConfig.xml file at C:\ProgramData\GlobeSoftware\Atlas6, which contains the ManagementServer name. You could try setting it there.

    Hi Guy,

Indeed, it’s a Citrix server. Client was installed as an administrator, and the user itself is able to set the hostname of the server.

Problem is that the server name is not kept when the server reboots.

All is fine when user logs off and on again, but when the server reboots he has to set the hostname again because it is being reset to the local machine name

I checked the userprofile and registry of the user whitout any luck.

    But i noticed something strange.

I installed the client in c:\atlas6, but there is no applicationconfig.xml in this directory

I do have a C:\ProgramData\GlobeSoftware\Atlas (notice that it’s not 6), but this directory is empty

The story when Citrix is involved looks complicated. I suggest you register for their help site and take a look at some of the Atlas/Citrix articles there:
