CRM 2013 - Outlook add-in compatibility question

Hi;

Does anyone know if an outlook desktop running CRM 2013 rollup 3 (v6.0.3) will be able to connect to a CRM server running CRM 2013 SP1 Rollup 1 (v6.1.1)?

I'd like to upgrade my server from v6.0.3 to v6.1.1 but want to be sure the outlook clients can still connect until we can get them upgraded as well.

Thanks

    Hello Dave,

    If your CRM server is on SP1-UR1, then your outlook client should also be on SP1 or above. There is a different in the built version of SP1-UR1 (6.1.1.132) and UR3 (06.00.0003.0106). Due to version different outlook client will not work as expected.

    From SP1 there will be in a way, 2 tracks for CRM 2013. From RTM to UR1, UR2, UR3 it is version 6.0.000etc… and from SP1 it is version 6.1.000etc…

    The table below may be of good info also.
