How to pass additional values from customer journey custom channel to plugin?

I created custom channel for customer journeys, it works correctly and creates custom channel activity entity after lead enters that custom tile. 

I would like to pass an argument to custom channel / custom channel activity or to other places, what I want to achieve is to choose on custom channel for example argument "A" to be passed and on second custom channel in this journey I would like to send "B". So in plugins I would know from which tile I received message which is necessary for me for further processing.

Are there any chance to achieve that?

    I thought that it could be possible to add some templates in field that I pointed on image below. Any ideas?
