i already had maximum fields in Account
so deleted some 7-8 fields and published the default solution but still getting error Maximum fields reached
Any help what might be the problem ?

i think it takes some time after resetting restarting it

Try IIS reset, In on premise system this helps many time, In addition to that you can raise a support ticket with Microsoft.
I am not sure why this is coming .I would suggest delete some more fields if possible . In addition try to restart App Server , DB Server and all the CRM and SQL server services , Cache , restart IIS etc.
