Hi guys

Curious if anyone else is seeing a problem with attaching files to the D365 Portal at all? I have everything setup correctly (Entity Permissions and Metadata) and the attachments appear as they should and I can edit/add, etc. all no problem but the issue I have is when I add a new attachment.

When I add something new the attachment window opens, I add my details, attach the file and upload the file. The window disappears but the attachment list doesn't refresh and I only see the newly added file when I manual refresh the screen.

This is something new as it was refreshing in the past and I'm wondering if I'm imagining things and it's been like this all along but all the Portals we look after are doing the same thing at present.

Any insights welcomed as always.

Hi Irena

Thanx for responding. I’ve just seen the latest release notes for the Portal (support.microsoft.com/.../portal-capabilities-for-microsoft-dynamics-365-version-8-4-2-19-releas) and it mentions my exact issue so I’m guessing this will be rectified when the update is applied.

Hope that helps anyone else in this position.

Hello Steven,

Actually this work fine for me, right after creating the new record I can see the text and image, no need for manual refresh.

Maybe you want to share the metadata config...
