Balance Sheet Unbalanced

Hi

My b/s is unbalanced because it doesn't pull through the current years profit so I have to manually add a line in excel to get it to balance.  I'm new to Wiise 365 and told the system has always been like that but it sounds like a set up issue to me as surely it should bring this line through to make it correct?

thanks for any advice to fix!

I have the same question (0)

    You write Wiise 365 ?

You are in a Business Central form. Sure you are in the right forum ?

If you are using BC, setup a chart of account for Current Year Income. It should be a Total type account, with all the income statement accounts as the totalling accounts (example 40000..99999)

yes Wiise 365 Dynamics with Hi, meet Business Central and try Cronus as my welcome whenever I open it.  I've been using this forum to solve other issues I've had.

Thanks, that helped - I now have the current year income on the balance sheet which matches the P&L, however it doesn't get picked up in the equity balance.   I have it as below:

    GL 5995 - Current Year Income  BS / Equity / Total (P&L GL's)

    GL 5999 - Total Equity                BS / Equity / End-Total 5000..5999

so as 5995 is included in the 5000-5999 I would have thought it would total, is it something to do with using End-total for Equity and just total for Current Year Income?

    thanks

Hi, still struggling with this - my Curr Year Income is a Total, but the Total Equity is an End-Total - how do I include a total in an End-Total?  thanks
