How to show the percentage on a bar chart/stacked bar chart

Hello experts,

We encountered this problem when customizing the dashboard for an entity. The client wants to see the percentage of the total margin (total margin% = margin per file (sum)/revenue per file (sum), we are thinking to create a bar chart with two columns (sum of margin and sum of revenue), question remains for how to show the percentage ? Does anyone has some advice on this subject ?

Thank you and have a nice day !

Best regards,

Yi

Did you find any solution to this ever? We are facing the same issue and need percentages in stacked column charts?

    Hi Yi,

We cannot do calculation in XML.

You can use high charts if you want to show calculation along with %.

    Hope it helps,

    Thanks

Hello Ridhima, thank you for your reply. We've tried this method before but it only added a percentage sign to the figure (ex: total margin is 400, and now it showed as 400%), because there is no calculation behind to define the percentage of total margin vs total revenue.

    Cheers,

    YI

    Hi Yi,

    Please try this:

    <Series ChartType="StackedColumn" Font="{0}, 9.5px" LabelFormat="#' %'" IsValueShownAsLabel="True" LabelForeColor="59, 59, 59" CustomProperties="PointWidth=0.75, MaxPixelPointWidth=40" />

    Thanks

Hello Rawish, thank you for your reply, actually I have checked out the link before and it's for 100 stacked bar charts and not stacked bar charts. I think to show the percentage on a stacked bar chart is more of a question of calculation than a question of display.

    Cheers,

    Yi
